NewMed Immediate Care can treat a wide range of non-life-threatening conditions, including sprains, strains, minor burns, lacerations, ear infections, and respiratory illness. Warning signs of an emergency include: <ul> <li>Chest pain or signs of a heart attack lasting two minutes or longer</li> <li>Sudden numbness, weakness, or other signs of a stroke</li> <li>Severe shortness of breath</li> <li>Heavy bleeding that doesn't stop after 10 minutes of direct pressure</li> <li>Major injuries, head trauma, or loss of consciousness</li> <li>High fever (104°F or higher) in a child, or any fever in an infant under 6 months</li> </ul>
